Just a reminder that November 29th-December 2nd are scheduled parent conference days. Your child's teacher may have already contacted you with your date and time. Tuesday through Friday of this week will be minimum days with a dismissal time of 12:45. Please plan accordingly.

November 14th- 11:30 a.m. Parent University class- "Math; What are you teaching my child."- Johnson auditorium
November 15th-9:15 a.m. English Learning Advisory Committee (ELAC) meeting- Conference Room 3
November 16th- Annual Bus evacuation drill beginning at 9 a.m.- Johnson blacktop
- Lincoln Cluster meeting Porter Elementary, 6- 8 p.m.
November 17th- Kindergarten Award Assembly, 5:30-6:30 (6 p.m. in the classrooms)

Hello,
November has several student non-attendance days. Friday, November 11th is Veterans Day. There is no school on this day.
Also, the week of November 21st-25th are student non-attendance days. The students are off for the entire week. Students come back to school on November 28th.

Thank you for a smooth parking lot transition!
Good evening,
The first week of the new parking lot procedure has been very smooth. Although, it is less convenient than in years past, most everyone has seen that closing the lot to through traffic during the times students and parents are using the parking lot most is in the best interest of pedestrians.

Johnson students report back to class on Monday, September 12th. The first bell rings at 8:55 and the tardy bell rings at 9 a.m.

New Parking Lot Procedures begin September 6th
For the safety of our students, the parking lot will be closed to through traffic from 8:30-9:05 a.m. and from 3:15-3:30 p.m.
On the minimum day the parking lot will close from 12:30- 1:00 p.m.
If you need to conduct school business, but need to leave before the parking lot will open, please find neighborhood parking.
